To make a long story short; my granddaughter has bouts of fever and throwing up. She is 13 months old. When she was about 3 mths she was hospitalized because of throwing up and high fever. They said it was probably severe acid reflux and sent her home. About a month later she was hospitalized again for the same symtoms. Same scenerio, said it was sever acid reflux, gave her breathing treatments, meds and sent her home. Through out her 13 months of life, she has been sick with the same symtoms over and over again. Other than that she is a very happy little girl, who doesn't know that she is not suppose to feel the way she does. She is the lil trooper!
But I just have to think; why should this child keep having the same thing time and time again. I would have thought she would have out grown this by now. She is perfect one minute and fever and throwing up the next. And it happens all the time.
We really don't know what else to do.
Please give me your thoughts and ideas.
