Growing too fast for a preemie?

My 2 year old daughter, was 2 months premature. She was little until she hit 9 months, suddenly she put on almost 6 inches. At her one year app. she had put on another 7 inches. She is now 2 years old and 31 inches (3ft 1in). I'm really concerned, since both parents are short, and she is a preemie. She does have a really big head, but seems to be able to see well, and understands really well, but this rapid growth is worrisome.
