Hypersensitive To Meds

Hi All!

I'm wondering if you have discovered that your preemie is hypersensitive to meds?

We've now had two incidents (the first was potentially what caused her to go into respiratory failure that first night, and the second was four drops of Tripohist, which caused her to become unconscious and unresponsive for seven hours and she refused to eat for 24 hours after that).

Now, I'm being told that this might be something that affects her her entire life.

Have any of you faced a similar situation? I don't fully understand it? What does this REALLY mean? I would love to hear your personal experiences.

Thank you, ~Katrina
