    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

i realize this is a super-sensative issue but my 13 year old daughter who I know is NOT sexually active has been suffering from itching - not so much in the vagina but in the front area. i'm hoping it's just a soap allergy but i had given her a generic brand of vagisil. it's not something she likes to talk about so i just thought she got over it since she wasn't complaining about it anymore. well, it turns out that she is missing another day of school due to the lack of sleep she had because of the itching! she said the vagisil ran out! i was horrified that she was still using it! i want to take her to the dr. but she is embarassed but i feel she might need to be looked at. any advice? thanks!

I would definitely take her to the Dr. - - a female one, so she' feels more comfortable.

    Take care,

Take her to the doctor. She might have a yeast infection.

No brainer, you need to take your daughter to the doctor. Your daughter could have a severe infection and she needs to be treated by a physician. Anytime you allow your daughter to suffer through the night with no sleep due to this kind of health issue, you need to take your daughter to a doctor.
