Hep A vaccine

Is it possible for my 13 year old daughter to have a fever two days after getting the Hep. A vaccine? She was sick when she got it, that is, she was coughing and blowing her nose. The nurse practitioner had diagnosed her with allergies. She didn't have a fever then. She is not vomiting or having diarrhea. Should I have rescheduled the vaccination?

Hi astrol and Welcome -

I hope your daughter is feeling better!

This resource, Hepatitis A Vaccine for Adults , does list a high fever as a side effect. What was her temp?

Please let us know how she is doing now,
Elizabeth
