My neice had her tubes tied today and i watched her baby girl today and she is a mixed baby, half american half mexican. My questions is when she had a bowel movement her poop was odd looking green, is this normal?And when i was cleaning her up and the poop was in her private area and it looked black in that area at the sides at the top, it almost looked like dried poop, well it scared me ,I thougth something was wrong with her. i didn't know what to do, I though i should take her to the doctor surely her mom noticed this,and her navel was large budging out. Well i though maybe i'm over reacting , maybe she's differant because she's mixed. So later on i asked my neice and she said that is the way they look because it freaked her out to and she had asked the doctor when her other daughter was born. And the baby's navel has a hernia and they are gonna try some medication and if that doesn't work they'll have to do surgery. Is this NORMAL ? She is about 2 months old

The color of her vaginal area is absolutely normal. My daughter is half black and she has the same coloring. As for the poop, it is normal to have green colored poop also. As for the hernia, I am not familiar with that, but It sounds like mom has that under control too!
