New conditioner ROCKS!

Found a new conditioner for DD#1. Its called silken child. I don't much like the shampoo, but the conditioner rocks! I can actually comb her hair after her bath without using a detangler. I also tried the moisturizing cream which I don't like because it left her hair crunchy. It is available at Sally's. (It reminds me of the nice and easy conditioner that comes with the hair dye.) Just thought I'd pass it along.

I heard about a great product from a friend of mine, she's mixed black and Irish. It was a silkener as well. But it cost like $15 at the store so I didn't buy it. Does it really do the job?

I think we are talking about a different product bc this one is only $4. Here is the link to buy it. http://www.sallybeauty.com/silken-child-conditioner/SBS-373010,default,pd.html?cm_vc=SEARCH
I try to leave it on for as long as possible during dd's bath. I usually have to use a detangler to get a comb thru her hair, but after this product I can actually comb it dry. I think it is the best conditioner I've ever used on her hair. She still needs the "just for me" oil moisturizing lotion, but at least I don't need the detangler.

what about hair grease? My child is Half Asian and Half black. She's 2 years old, but she has alot of hair. I just recently took her to the salon to get her dry ends trimmed. What product does every1 use for dry hair w/o making it look greasy? I have access to professional salon products (stores) but sometimes I feel they don't know how to answer my questions. What are the do's and Don'ts on hair? I wished her hair wasn't as curly. I still haven't found a good shampoo and conditioner for her yet.

I like the Just for me oil moisturizing lotion, but I have never used any type of grease. I can reapply the lotion daily and it doesn't make her hair crunchy (which I HATE) Her hair is usually in rubberbands to prevent tangles, but I can reapply the lotion to the hair everyday and make it look fresh if I don't have time to re-do it. I usually have to do her hair every 4 days, but I only wash it every other time and just condition it on days I don't wash.
I use johnson's conditioning shampoo and conditioner in one (blue bottle - see link below) once a week and the silken child conditioner twice a week. I apply the oil moisturizing lotion at least every other day. Everyone's hair is different though so that is what I use.

Hi all! I have been using Carol's Daughter Hair Milk lotion on my daughter's hair. Her hair is soft w/ tight curls. The lotion helps to keep the curls tight w/o being crunchy and to keep the frizz away! Our humidity will be setting in for the summer so we will se how it keeps up! I know the Carol's Daughter has a children's line too but the boutique where I purchased did not have it in stock yet.
