Is there any evidence to support the value of testosterone treatments in patients with PD??
Mark A Stacy, MD responded:
There are conflicting reports about testosterone replacement and PD. My best guess is that it would increase muscle mass, and that would help motor symptoms, but improvement is not directly from the drug. You may want to ask your doctor to check a testosterone level, and if low, consider replacement therapy.
