    Patient confidentiality

Dr Stacy how do you protect patient confidentiality with all information required to be placed on a computer net work. The information the patient gives you in confidence can no longer be kept between you and the patient. With hackers and any one in health care able to pull up your info especially the government do you expect to have the same relationship with your patients. I know I now filter the information given to any doctor I see. This really bothers me. It would be better to have everything on a micro chip that the patient carries with them and the Dr inserts into a reader and adds to it. This way only the need to know info is available .
