    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Has anyone experienced apathy with Parkinson's disease?
    worn1 responded:
wmalice I have become more emotional. I use to be able to conceal what i was thinking, No longer. If i dislike you or am board it is evident. I could watch old yeller and not shed a tear. now just mention a dog experiencing abuse I cry. I have become more atune to people and how they feel. My personality is slowly changing to the oposite. Not happy about it but nothing I can do about it.

    wmalice replied to worn1's response:
Thank you for your response. I didn't know why I was feeling this way. I have no feelings, not happy, sad, excited. I can laugh but I don't cry much. It is so weird. I am like you their is nothing I can do about it so it really doesn't bother me.
    njladyluck replied to wmalice's response:
I forgot that this was another first sign of my PD. I used to tell my husband all of the time that I stopped caring about anything any more. I didn't understand what was going on. I just didn't care about others. I forgot about it but it bothered me and am glad that the sinemet helped with that non-feeling as well!!!
