    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

    Introducing Your New WebMD Moderator!
    Andie_WebMD_Staff posted:
Please say hello to your new WebMD Moderator: Haylen!

Haylen will most likely be taking over the community on Monday. I'll still be around on WebMD, but I know I leave you in good hands. Thank you to each of you for being such a supportive group, and to Dr, Stacy for all his thoughtfulness and participation!

Please welcome Haylen. She will be popping in to introduce herself soon!

Sending thoughts of health and happiness for 2011 and beyond!

    Mark A Stacy, MD responded:
    Hi, Haylen
Welcome to the Parkinson's Disease Community!
Haylen_WebMD_Staff replied to Mark A Stacy, MD's response:
Thank you for the welcome Andie and Dr. Stacy. I welcome any suggestions as I get my feet wet in this community!

My moderation experience has been in parenting, technology and entertainment. However, I have daughters ages 2 and 6 and have spent a lot of time on WebMD looking up things such as "fever" and "coughing" - as well as "exhaustion".

I live in Southern California by way of Oklahoma. How about you? Would love any information you are comfortable sharing :)
