My husband adopted a dog for me for a wedding present and did not get him fixed before picking him up. We had to leave him with a friend who had three dogs and one was in heat. Little but after we got the news their dog was prego. Well we are moving to our own place and now we have two dogs and puppies on the way.

Both of us have no experience with a prego dog and newborn pups. What should we do and what are some helpful tips?

We are planning to get the puppies their 1st round of shots then sell them. Should we get them fixed as well?

the mother dog will want to go some where away from anyone when it is time for the birthing process.. if she is outside she will go anywhere from under the porch stairs to into some bushes.. anywhere it is hard for you to get to the puppies, which is what you want to avoid. if you have a laundry room that has a door, this is a good room to put the mother dog in.. get a cardboard box and towels you don't mind throwing away..and a baby monitor that has a tv so if she gives birth at night, you can see what is going on..

I know she loves to be under our desk or the kitchen table so there isnt many places she can hide. And she has let us rub her belly alot. Is there anything else we should do to expect once the pups are here?
