Cat has lump in tail

I was petting my cat this morning and 1/2 way down his tail i felt a
lump, It was like a hard little ball. He didnt cry or anything when
i was touching it. Do you think he could of got it stuck some where
or broke it? he does have an unusally long tail. Hes acting normal
eatting drinking playing jumping.

It doesn't sound like he broke his tail as that would be very painful. Any mass that develops is by definition a tumor as it is some kind of growth. It could be a malignant tumor (cancer), a benign tumor (not cancer), a cyst, an abscess, etc. This needs to be looked at by your veterinarian. There are often simple ways to tell what it is, but you need to know for sure.

yes i have the same thing with my cat so when i get a chance im going to my vet to get my cat look it too ..jarodd
