I was wondering if lawn fertilizer or weednfeed ,to those sorts can be harmfull to your pet ? And what can be done to keep them away from it or how long to wait after you've put it down ? I keep worrying when hubby puts it down while our dog is outside.Or let out right afterwards.Do I need to worry about this ? Thank you.

I've been wondering about that too. I have a professional service that sprays my lawn once a month with various chemicals. Of course, the dogs want to go out right after the man leaves. So far, I haven't had a problem, but I don't want to push my luck. I guess the safest thing is to "potty" them while walking down the street--not in the yard for at least 24 hrs (that's what my service's sign says each time they spray).
