pyroderma-we're in "Deep"

Latte has been on oral antibiotics for pyroderma for almost a month. I understand from much reading and consultation that she may need another month if she starts itching again when she goes off the antibiotic. Do you recommend a vet visit before restarting the antibiotic? We never had a scraping, but she definitely had all the clinical signs. She is hypothyroid and has had food allergies and I understand these are contributing factors to developing deep pyroderma.
