Our dog, a 16 months old Pembroke Corgi weight 16KG, has not been drinking or eating for the last 5 days. We didn't change his dietary and he didn't shows any symptoms of illness before he suddenly start vomiting. When he first got it, he had pinkies slime vomit for 7 times in 12 hours and black diarrhea stool. We went to the vet and did the stool sample and blood test, vet said that it was hookworm and give few oral medications. However since he still vomiting, he has been on IV both saline and lactated for the last 4 days every morning. Vet gave food jabs as well as antibiotics. Vet told us that they need to heal him up first before giving any deworming medications which means more IV until he start drinking and eating again. Did Parvo test today and the result was negative. He still vomiting and diarrhea until now and we can see there's blood in it. What could it be?
