repeated surgery for Mast Cell/ 6 yr. old male Szhnauzer

My dog has had 7 mast cell tumors removed in one year. He was placed on a nightly dose of 25 mg. of Benadryl, thought was the benedryl would ward of the histamines produced by the Mast Cell. Our plan moving forward, soon as I find a tumor it is surgically removed.
I have not done chemo/radiation, I live far away from the closest oncologist, Owen is in great health otherwise, do I have any other options?

Thank you.
