Can VECTRA 3D cause a "hive-like" reaction on humans?

I was talking with a friend of mine who has two corgis. She used Vectra 3-D on both of them. Shortly after using it on her dogs (within 10 hours), she herself developed hives. Is this only a coincidence? Has anyone heard of this happening before? Thanks

My daughter has had a prickly heat rash for five days.
we use advantix II on both dogs and frontline plus for our cats.
don't know if this could be the cause of her rash. she never had it before.

It's not impossible it's an allergic reaction to the medication. If nothing else in the environment has changed except for the use of Vectra, then it is entirely plausible it caused her reaction from touching the dogs.
