My cat sometimes vomits

Sometimes when I forget to have food out for my cat to eat at night (its happening less and less) she vomits in the morning when she first eats...Im thinking it could be she has a sensitive digestive system but im not too sure

Could she be eating too much because she's hungry? My own cat does the same thing. If she's used to nibbling throughout the day she could be putting too much in her stomach at one time.

Well, I think you could say she has a "sensitive digestive system," but this is not a diagnosis. Vomiting is a symptom, not a disease. It can be anything from hairballs to kidney disease, to intestinal disease, etc. If she has a normal physical examination, eats well, and vomits food, you can try treating for hairballs to see if that solves the problem. But if she's still vomiting after two days of treatment, it's not hairballs. The next step is lab tests to look for underlying disease. If these are all normal, the last step is to biopsy her digestive tract. Fortunately, a diagnosis is often obtained before this invasive step is needed.
