Treflexis side effects

I would like to know if Treflexis could be responsible for my dog's anemia.
He is eating reluctantly. My vet. is treating him for blood born parasites and has ordered very expensive blood tests for tick related diseases. He
receives K9 Advantix and Treflexis for heartworm. The problem has
been associated with the use of Treflexis instead of Interceptor, but
may not be caused by it. He has had very few tick bites this year because of the drought. He has no diarrhea or vomiting and still chases
squirrels! He does not like the Treflexis tablets and has to be encouraged to eat them or he spits them out.
