Dark speck on dogs eye
alyssaandace posted:
So I noticed today what looks like a poppy seed sized dark spot on my dogs eye. On the colored part, so I guess the iris. It seems to be flat on the surface. When I shine a light on it it leaves a shadow in the back part of his eye. I tried to rinse it out a couple different ways and it doesn't seem to be debris. I plan on taking him to the vet, but am curious if anyone has any idea what this could be. He acts completely normal and there is no redness or discharge. It looks as though it could be some sort of popped blood vessel, but I've never seen anything like this before (but then again this is my first dog).[br>[br>Here is a pic:[br>
