My almost 15 year old long haired Dachshund is losing hair all over his belly and chest. He doesn't show any signs of irritation, does not scratch or itch the areas, does not have crusty or oily skin. The bald area just looks normal, minus the thick hair that was there 6 months ago. Any ideas why this is happening? Should I be concerned enough to take him to the vet?
