Medical Marijuana for Canine Epilepsy

carrieven posted:
Was wondering if anyone knew if medical marijuana is effective with canine epilepsy. Trying to get seizures down to just once a month and I really don't want to put her on the damaging hard meds to control them due to serious side effects. I've read about some great success with humans, but have not ever heard if it is also safe for animals. My little Molly is the joy of my life, and I would never do anything questionable to her, but am trying very hard to combine holistic options with her medicines to minimize the need for hard core drugs in her.
