I accidentally gave my 5 lb cat the dosage of Vectra meant for my 14 lb cat. She is now hiding and I can't get to her. Is she going to be alright?

AMERICAN VETERINARY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION
Drew Weigner, DVM, ABVP responded:
Vectra has been found to cause no toxicity in overdose studies done by the manufacturer in cats or kittens, so your cat should be fine. But if she's not acting normal by now, please take her to your veterinarian for an exam.
