Husky died suddenly

Our 9-year-old male Siberian husky died suddenly today. We had no indications that he was sick at all. We came home this afternoon and found him lying stiff in the middle of the backyard with blood coming out of his mouth and a small amount of blood in the urethral area. Any ideas what could have caused this? Our other dog seems fine.No signs of trauma on the body. We could not find any evidence of something toxic he could have eaten. I am concerned that he might have been sick with something that could affect our other dog or our young children...

Sorry your dog died. We had a slightly similar experience with our Huskie/german sheperad mix. China was fine when we all went to bed, when I woke up the next morning I found her dead on the back porch. It sorta looked like she might have had convulsions and wrapped her collar around a decorative railing post, but we never did find out what caused her death. She was 11 or 12 I think when she died. Our other dogs did fine and so did our cats. Hope this helps. Again sorry to hear about your dog.
