    dog eating dirt
    mauilovecats posted:
I have a 71/2 yr. great dane. She has started to eat dirt. She digs in the dirt a little, then starts to eat it. Is this a sign that she needs some sort of nutrient that she is not gettingt? She has recently been diagnosed with low thyroid, could this be connected to her eating dirt?

Is she still eating dirt? My puppy(12 weeks), even with a change in high quality food, insists on eating dirt as well.
