Can't find anything about this...
Labooro posted:
Recently my cats upper eyelid has started to swell up. Today its gotten to the point wheres its pushing back his eye..I have no money to take him to the vet and its gotten pretty bad within the four days since it started.

I'm worried about it and have no clue what it could be or what I can do. I was thinking it was a cyst or something but I'm not sure. Its his whole upper eyelid, its to the point he can hardly open his eye.

Does anyone have a clue what I could do or should I just wait it out, maybe it will swell down or worse just burst...
Drew Weigner, DVM, ABVP responded:
Without a physical examination by a veterinarian, it's not possible to tell what's causing his eyelid to swell and, since it's not improving, he really needs to be seen as soon as possible. Call your county animal control department or humane society to see if there is a low cost clinic in your area. They'll also know if there are any financial assistance programs you may qualify for.
