Is Garlic really Bad for dogs
BobGay posted:
I have been feeding my dog garlic to keep off ticks and fleas. It wprks great and since my lab is allergic to frontline and advantix i find it a great substitute. Also i was reading a white paper on the analysis of on-spot flea and tick repelants and they all have either as a active or inactive ingrediant a carsinogen or a chemical that effects the thyroid. Why do we allow this crap on the market. Studies done on the amount of garlic needed to cause anemia in a dog is astronomical. like 345 cloves per day.Don't these vets read anything once graduating from Cornell? My ex vet said it was safer to use pesticides on my dog than garlic. After 2 years my dogs red blood cell count is perfectly normal. Who can you trust anymore.
