    My Jack Russell Had Seizure
    VlisaE posted:
I need help. 2weeks ago My 12 YO Jack Russell was seen for some sort of allergic reaction to mosqito or spider or some sort of bites. Her neck had the bite but her entire body broke out in hives. They put her on prednisone and chlorpheniramine. I used Neem spray and the external redness went away rather soon. I stopped the prednisone and allergy meds about 5 days after. This weekend she had a seizure. She urinated but was only out for seconds and she didn't pass all the way out. . we've been seen by 3 doctors this week and i still dont know what is wrong. Heart disease has been ruled out through an echo and radiograph. No fluid on lungs but they did her full bloodwork and she is anemic at 25.9 HCT. Did I stop the prednisone too soon and cause this seizure? I would prefer it be that and not brain lesions or brain cancer? Please help. I love her with all life. Is an MRI the next step.

She is eating ok since the seizure but she is tired and no energy. Is this the anemia? Is 25.9 severe anemia?
