    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Cats died suddenly
    Mrsjennygons posted:
2 of my 3 cats ave died over the last 2 months. The first one slowed down & died with in 2 days. Cat #2 also slowed down & died within 2 days. Only thing different is cat #2 had numerous bowel movements on the cement. Any ideas what's happening to my cats?

So sorry to hear about your cats... that kind of loss is really hard. I couldn't even guess about what happened though without knowing more. Things like eating changes, drinking changes, reactions to light, color and consistency of feces, behavior, etc etc can be helpful here.
    Drew Weigner, DVM, ABVP responded:
Not without more information, but common causes of sudden death include heart disease and Feline Leukemia. If I were you, I'd take your third cat to your veterinarian as soon as possible to make sure he's OK.
