Parvovirus

My 8 week old Alaskan Malamute puppy luka received parvovirus from one of his brothers on thursday last week. He has been under veterinary care since then and I am wondering, is there any long term effects of this, will this stunt his growth, will his behavior change at all, will he have to be taken to the vet every week or what?

The dogs I know that have survived parvovirus have been fairly normal afterwards and haven't needed long term care. Your vet should be able to tell you more, after considering your pup's specific needs and symptoms. Best of luck to your pup!
