AMERICAN VETERINARY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION
Sandy Willis, DVM, DACVIM responded:
Hi,
Sounds like you might be working with a specialist given the MRI. Sometimes we do find that there is no cancer, no fungal infection, no foreign object, just a chronic rhinitis. We can try supportive care but these can be difficult. Sometimes there are inhalant steroids, and even nose drops that might be tried. So check back with your veterinarian and/or specialist to make sure they know all there is to know about what it could be, and how best to manage what might be a chronic problem. Dr. Sandy
