I can not afford to take my dog to the hospital, so I was wondering if someone could give me advice till I try to get her in on Monday. My dog is half Lab/ Whippet 12 years old. She has developed a red eye that she scratches now and then. She does not complain about it, but the black part in her eye ( I think her inner eye lid) is extending up on her eye ball alittle. I think its just allergies. But could I put a warm compress on her eye to help or flush it out?
