Allergic dog?
ilse2014 posted:
Three years ago I found this beautiful puppy in the park. He has been part of our family ever since. Last year we moved from an apartment to a house with a garden and 6 months ago it all started.

He got an eye infection which was at first successfully treated by the vet. Then it got worse, he started scratching his legs, tummy, eyes and ears. All these areas were puffy and very red.
He got
- blood test; everything ok
- scratch test; everything ok

He was put on medication;
- Temaril-P
- Cefpodoxime
- Cephalexin
- Famotidine
- Itraconazole

We wash him with anti-bacterial soap and he is on a hypo - diet dry food.

He was doing better after the Itraconazole, but since two days it is starting to get worse again. Because it gets extremely hot here now, we take the dogs walking in the morning. After our walk this morning, he is shaking his back leg and chews on it like crazy.

I checked him for grass seeds but can not find any wounds... As you can see on the medication list, we have been to the vet several times and I have consulted two vet hospitals, they just can not find anything... Please help...
