I am a 30 y/o woman from Brooklyn who was recently dx'd w/ bilateral PCOS. I was put on Metformin 500mg p/d to be titrated up to 1500mg over the next few months. I am taking this in combination w/ YAZ to prevent pregnancy for another year or so. I was just wondering if anyone else out there took Metformin in combination w/ BC pills and how they did on it?

Anyway advice regarding getting my health/weight back under control now that I am taking medication?

The only other person I know with this condition is my cousin who lives all the way in MD, so I was just wondering if anyone else could offer so advice.
