Metformin not working with PCOS
avatar
VanessaRao posted:
I was diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance and am taking 2500 mg of Metformin. But I do not see any affects of the pills. No significant weight loss and no upset stomach etc. I am wondering if it is even working. I am not over-weight, but the doctor thought I would lose 8-9 pounds. I lost around 4 pounds, but mostly coz of diet and exercise.

Anyone face the same situation?
