hello everyone: I was diagnosed with diabetes 2 on March 2012 and to make the story real short. While i have been diagnosed to have diabetes. I have notice that i have other systems that are of of PCOS. my question is this: Do i have to go to a specialist to look into this and if so which doctor. I just had a hysterectomy which my doctors left my ovaries however, I'm having these hair growth, thining of hair, weight gain, my lipids are high and my ALT and AST (which is a fatty liver) has doubled in the last 3 months and no one is doing anything. HELP! I don't understand what is occuring with me. I need direction.

Find an Endocrinologist. they specialize in the effects that hormones have on your body. A common disease they deal with is diabetes. PCOS is one of the most complex diseases they deal with. June will be my first visit with one to discuss what can be done about all the trouble I am having with my PCOS
