38 and Pregnant
NoelleMileski posted:
I am 38 years old and found out today I am pregnant with my second child. I am newly divorced and have only been in a relationship with my babys' father for a few months. It's been 10 years since I've done this and I'm way out of practice. Is it still okay to have one cup of coffee in the morning. Can I take tylenol for a headache? These are the things I'm thinking about.

One or two cups of coffee a day is generally recognized as fine. I did that with both my children and they are both fine. Also Tylenol is one of the few OTC drugs that is recognized as generally safe in pregnancy, but you should try to limit how often you use it.

Hello...I am also 38 and just found out I'm pregnant again after 13 years. This is my fourth child and I too have only been in my new relationship for a few months. Honestly it feels like the first time because I have forgotten what this is like! I was also told by my doc one or two cups of coffee and tylenol regular strength in moderation. Good Luck!!!
