    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

I am 42 and pregnant for the 5th time. My boys are 21, 18, 15, & 13! I am very active & healthy but am having a terrible time with my hands! They feel like they are asleep. I wake up crying. I have done everything suggested....watch salt, drink water, hand braces, sleeping on left side, massages, etc. I have always had easy pregnancies. I am so uncomfortable and not sleeping. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you have pregnancy induced carpal tunnel syndrome. I had it pretty bad with my first. I had to pretty much wear the brace all the time - even when sleeping. I also had to limit my time on the computer because that made it worse. The good news is that it went away after delivery. Unfortunately there is not much you can do about it.
