    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

How do I know for sure?

As someone who goes back and forth on the issue of motherhood, I'm seeking input. Does anyone know for sure whether or not they want to have kids at any stage in life any more? Is it possible to know for sure, given how many options we have as women these days? If so, what does it take to have that kind of certainty? Please advise!

I can tell you that initially my wife did not want children. There were some arguments about it. Now that we have a little one, she is really glad about it.

I honestly can't tell you when someone is ready. Obviously, women are having children later and later in life because of career, divorce, etc. I really can't imagine life without our son--he's such a joy.

When you're ready, you'll know, you know?
