Good Morning Ladies! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

Beth Ann & Baby Boy

30w0d

w/g: around 13-14lbs

s/c: Fatigue has returned full force. I am sooooo tired all the time!! Hope this doesn't last for the remainder of my pregnancy. There's so much I have to get done yet! Starting to get more and more uncomfortable. But little man is moving a TON now and that never gets old.... Except when he shoves his foot in my ribs. Ouch!!

other: Finally got the results of my glucose test back last week and I passed with flying colors. Yay! One less thing to worry about. Also found out my coworkers are planning a baby shower for me. It was supposed to be a surprise but one guy spilled the beans. I'm still very shocked. I never would have expected them to throw a shower for me.

Next d/a: 2/8, u/s and OB appt
Me(30) DH(32) Two angel babies, 5/11/09 (10wks), 6/28/11 (5wks).

Kirsty & Baby

17wks 4 days

w/g: -3lbs

s/c: Nothing major really some RLP, and irritability but finally hit that good second tri feeling

Other: Downs test came back at 1/16000, so was very pleased, but PAPP-A score came back below normal, so doc has categorized us as high risk and will now be doing monthly u/s to check on the babies development.

My SIL went into labour yesterday and although I am delighted and can't wait for my niece to be born I was secretly glad it took awhile and she's still in labour this am (Yesterday would have been our EDD for our first loss baby).

Next d/a: 1st feb anatomy scan, 17th feb doc appt.

BethAnn - I can't believe you are 30wks already!! Glad the glucose test came back good, and YAY for the shower - thats lovely

BethAnn, Congrats on the good glucose test results! That must be a HUGE relief

Glad you are finally getting to enjoy the second tri, Kirsty... it's the best trimester LOL

Home from work, sick today Appointment today at 3:30, OB still wants me to come in if I'm up to it; will have to see

Charlotte and Baby Girl

37w1d

w/g: 29 lbs

s/c: Had my first real occurance of BHC this weekend, and it kinda freaked me out. I had about 4 of them, and they all came about 5 minutes apart. I waited to wake DH, just in case it was a false alarm, which it was. whew!!! Other than that, not much new to report, other than this crazy bug I've got (which I'm starting to think is just something I ate). Still have HB and stiff hips in the morning, and I literally waddle everywhere. This little stomach flu deal kinda worries me a little; is it making my Baby Girl sick too? Can it harm her? Lots of questions for the doc, if we make it there today.

other: Was a busy weekend; had two baby showers, and it was almost overwhelming. Amongst everything, we got our Pack 'n Play and crib mattress, which were really the last two essentials we needed. Besides picking out a carseat for DH's car (he has a VW Jetta, and we discovered that there is NO WAY our travel system carseat will fit in his car) and stocking up on diapers, we are pretty well ready to go! I feel so blessed to have such a generous group of family and friends, and don't know how we can thank them enough.

OH and I found out some other great news... after a couple years of trying, one of my BFF's is finally preggo!!! Yay!!!

Next d/a: Today 3:30, then Monday 1/30
~Charlotte(26), DH(27), Furry child Gin (Aussie), M/C 3/2/2011, BFP 6/6/2011 EDD 2/12/2012, Pink Team!

Mary and Yellow Team Baby
15wd

w/g: -5lbs

s/c: I have a lot of pressure. I told DBF last night that it felt like the baby was just going to fall out. That's not a good thing, I'm only 15 weeks.

I have a lot of heartburn...seems no matter what I eat, I get it.

Otherwise, feeling really good.

My next d/a is the 8th, and we'll be scheduling our big u/s (but we're still not finding out the gender!)
Mary (30), DBF, Josh (28). PAL DS, Jack (2/2/2007), 4 angel babies. Expecting our miracle: 7/12/12 - Yellow Team!

Beth Ann - yay for passing the glucose test! That's such a relief, isn't it? And I read something last week about the "30-week slump" - apparently it's fairly common to hit a slump, of sorts, at 30 weeks. Hopefully that's all this is, and you pick back up soon.

Kirsty - yay for hitting 2nd tri, and for feeling better! What is the PAPP-A score? Praying it's just one of the many "false positives" those screenings tend to give! I think the odds are good that it is.

Charlotte - so sorry you are sick. That is MISERABLE. I got stomach bugs with both Joshua (#2) and Bekah (#3) and it was HORRIBLE. I was farther along with Joshua, (23 or so weeks) and they put me in the hospital for observation and gave me fluids. I couldn't keep anything down, so the IV fluids made me feel MUCH better! But, no, it can't/won't hurt the baby. It makes your life miserable, but they don't get sick from it. And yay for your BFF!

Mary - ahhh, I HATED that pressure feeling early-on. I did have it, though, and it was okay. But so stressful when you know it's too early for baby! And in my experience, heartburn = boy.

My update:

Kelly & Samuel

35w3d

w/g: 25 lbs

Symptoms: Heartburn, congestion/stuffy nose, some sciatic and hip pain, lots of baby movement, some pressure down low, BHC, and soreness. Not to mention anxiety! LOL, sigh.

Other: Feels like he dropped some! That's kind of neat, since I wasn't really expecting him to until he was ready to be born.

Next d/a: prenatal on 2/3

Beth Ann thats so sweet about your coworkers planning a shower for you. Totally understand the fatigue and the baby shoving foot into ribs. And glad glucose test came back great.

Kristy: Its hard to believe your already 17w4d and yay for anatomy scan coming up!Understandable that you wanted her to go for a while. i would feel the same way.

Charlotte: Yay for being full term. Eeep on teh BHC but that means your getting closer to the real thing. Excited for you

Marykate:Yay for getting to see your little one again. Mention the pressure to your ob the next time you go in just to make sure its just because baby is sitting low. My hips recently spread in the last week or so just enough to where he can now sit a lot lower which makes a lot of pressure when he sits there.

Heather and Carson

27w6d (28 weeks tomorrow yay for 3rd trimester)

w/g: 20ish lb (will find out wednesday)

s/c: HIps are still very sore and I have gotten the whole waddling thing down pat. Hard to sleep at night (due to being uncomfortable). I am fatigued all day long. Carson likes to shove his feet into my lungs and under my ribs which makes for heart racing and short of breath. He also sometimes sticks his foot on the outside of my rib so its sometimes feels like when you have an underwire bra on and its pushing against fat and ribs but its baby. And I have a stupid head cold. So not only is my ear still bothering my because it continuously plugs up but now I have all the sinus issues with it on the other side.

other: I have to find someone else to go with me to my birthing classes because the friend that was going to do it with me (DH can't because its on monday evenings and he works 1-11pm mon thru fri and there are no other days or times available). But she decided to do roller derby and her practices are on mon-wed-fri so now i have to find someone else. Hoping that maybe I can get MIL to do it with me. I would have my mom do it but she lives 2.5 hours away and if my mom isn't able to attend the birth (like we plan to have where it would be me, my mom and dh) then I would prob allow MIL to be there since its her first grandbaby. As of right now she is fine with being in the waiting room as is everyone else. I really just want to be able to go to the classes.

Next d/a: 1/24 glucose test, 1/25 Ob appt

Nicole & Baby

18 wks

w/g: -9 pds still

s/c: started my full time work last week and that leaves me super tired all the time. Also shortness of breath is starting to come on pretty strong. My skin has gotten really dry & I also have woken up with bloody nose's a few times. I am having trouble sleeping too, not that I am uncomfortable, but I just keep waking up throughout the night.

other: Even though I have been having fears about baby, today I felt a pretty strong movement. It was only one, but I am confident that it was baby. Found out that my parents cant get vacation to come to visit until August, baby is due in June. They weren't there for my DD birth either, and I was hoping they would be there this time. Kinda bums me out, but its really out of their control.

2 weeks til I am halfway done & we find out the gender!! Its the only thing keeping me sane!!

next d/a: 2/7 reg OB, 2/10 The Big One!!
Nicole(28)Mike(30) 7yr old DD
Diagnosed MFIF June 2011 after 27 months no BC(12 months active trying)
BFP: 8/2011 M/C @ 6 weeks 9/2011

Caron and Baby

28w6d - Moving up to 3rd trimester tomorrow!

Today I had my OB appt and my Perinatal appt. I got to see my little one, weighing in at 3lbs 2ounces. Everything looks great. My cervix is nice and closed and holding at 4.1cm. I also had an FFN swab which test for leakage from the cervix and predicts preterm labor. Thankfully the results were negative. I'm now on bi-weekly visits to my OB and Fetal Specialist.

My Little one has been moving allot, sometimes a little painful at times but am on the home stretch. And I'm happy he/she is doing great. I'm so thrilled to be starting my 3rd trimester without any problems. I've gotten use to being on strict bedrest. I can't wait to meet my little one. I have plans to take a lactation class. I don't need birthing classes; I did that with my daughter so I'm good there. However I'd like to breastfeed longer than I did with my daughter so I'll be signing up for classes. I also have to complete my registry. Not sure how I'll have a shower and I'm on bedrest.

Melissa and Baby Boy

26w 5d

w/g: @22lbs

s/c: Just lots of stiffness and some back ache. Trouble sleeping and lots of waking due to hips hurting. LO is all active especially when I lay down. And DS is enjoying talking to the baby and wanting him to kick.

I'm on iron supplements now so hopefully the anemia will go away. I don't think it was bad but just on low side.

other: DS is turning 3 this friday 1/27. I can't belive that I have a 3 yo!!! We are really working on potty training but he wants nothing to do with it sometimes. I know alot of people have done it earlier but I had tried and he just wasn't into it. I hope we can get him trained before LO comes - I got 3 months so we'll see.

next d/a: feb 1st next OB - then starts the 2 week appt.
