Pregnancy: After Loss Community

Thank you ladies for you support, it means so very much to me to know that I can come here and vent or cry or be just about anything and that you lovely ladies will be there...
So the appt. did not go as I had hoped..the OB I saw was a resident since mine was busy..at least I got in that is what counts..he was very nice and gentle during the exam..he says my cervix is closed so he cannot say that I am in any imminent danger of m/c and the spotting has diminished a litlle since yesterday..it is mostly orangey-pink today..no more pin drops of red..
He had said before the exam that we would be doing a repeat u/s but after conferring with his superior they decided to only do the HCG..I was pretty bummed about that and I told him so..I told him that it would give me some very needed peace of mind to be able to take a look but he decided against it anyhow..so I went for the blood draw and I will be getting a call back sometime today..now as he says my HCG will be elevated from the 500 count from last Friday (most probably) and so we must not look at today's count but more at the repeat draw that we will do in 48 hrs..but that is on Saturday and the clinic I went to will be closed..I might have to go through he ER this weekend to get my second draw and I will have to wait until Monday to know what is going on..I just really wish we had taken a look inside because then it would of been clear whether or not BB has grown since last week..
I am still a little crampy and I sometimes get a little back pain with it but I think it feels like a m/c..
I am so hoping to be wrong but I am staying neutral in my emotions this time because I simply cannot take another day of crying like yesterday..
He also gave me a medical slip for another night off of work so I can rest and take it easy..
Any thoughts ladies??

Hugs. Having your cervix closed is a good thing. I wish they would have also given you an u/s since like he said the hcg should be elevated enough to see your LO even if its a teeny blob at this point. Here's to hoping your hcg levels rised really well and that the one this weekend will be even better. Get some rest and try to keep your mind busy. I know thats really hard but the more you think about it the more stress you can become and we want you to be as stress free as possible. I am hoping that the little bit of spotting is just a normal pregnancy thing verses anything other than that. I think that the extra night off work is a good thing as well. Hugs and best wishes.

Last update of the day ladies, after this one I will take the evening for myself..
TRIGGS- Not even 1 hour after my last update I went to the bathroom and the spotting had increased to red..a dark red.. some lower back and lower abdomen cramps started to increase in uncomfortableness and just a few visits to the bathroom later (TMI) I was seeing clots..once there was some in the toilet and there was some on t.p.
I know I am m/c..I have been through this before and I recognize the signs..
The Dr.s office never did call back but I really don't need to know from them what my body is already telling me..
I am just wondering why is it happening again and also I am hoping that now the OB will maybe be willing to refer me to a RE or someone who can tell me why in 6 months has this happened to me twice?
I am sad, mostly dissapointed but I just really would like to just get an expert's opinion at this point..

I am very sorry Vicki-I would encourage further evaluation at this point- I ended up switching OB's after 2 m/c because my first OB was very casual about the entire thing. My current OB was very aggressive with testing and started me on medications as well. I wish you the best.

Hugs Vicki I am sorry. I would really push for further testing and like nichole said it may be that you have to switch ob's to do it. Hugs and best wishes.

If it is not too painful for you pop on in every now and again.
