Urgent Care Trip
MtnPrincess posted:
So I've been sick pretty sick since Thursday - Chills, aches, fever, sore throat. I've been slowly getting better, though. Today I felt like I was having trouble breathing, and was really having to focus on taking slow, deep breathes. Then I started getting dizzy and my face started to tingle. I was getting a little scared so I called a friend and she helped me figure out someone to watch my kids so I could go to urgent care (DH is flying - He's an airline pilot). So I get there and they basically say I'm hyperventilating and to focus on taking short, slow breathes. That's what was making my face tingle and me to feel dizzy. Because of my sore throat they did a strep test and it was positive, so I'm guessing (they didn't say anything) that because my throat is swollen it's making it feel harder to breath even though I'm really fine, which was causing me to take more/deeper breathes which caused my O2 to be oversaturated (it was at 100!). I'm home now with a pregnancy ok Rx and the kids and trying rest as much as possible. Sweet DH is so worried about me being sick and about how the baby's doing. I really don't want him to have to fly home as I'm really starting to feel better compared to Thursday/Friday, I just tried to do too much and be supermom this morning. So now I'm back on my butt doing next to nothing. Grahmn Crackers and granola bars are good meals for kids, right?
