Good morning ladies. Hope all is well.

I am 18w5d today. Other than RLP is acting up again a bit I am doing okay. Had my appointment on friday. All is well. Dr asked about movement and though I haven't really felt anything at all, I also told her I had a feeling I likely have an anterior placenta and thats probably why. She listened to baby and had a nice strong hb. She then felt around and tried to get him/her to move. Didn't budge but said she agreed it could be that I have an anterior placenta and sinc etheir is a strong hb she isn't overly concerned. I do think though I may have felt baby the last few evenings. I am not for sure because its in the middle of the night and can't tell if i am just dreaming haha. It is like 3 in the morning or so two of the times and I don't even know what time the 3rd time but it was a different spot so who knows. She did notice baby was hiding behind my belly button too , stinker. On another note no concerns about the wt gain because I am just now a couple of pounds above my prepreg wt so I have "room to grow". But generally try to maintain the 1lb a week type of gain. Oh and the best part, I got to schedule my anatomy scan for tomorrow late afternoon . It will be interesting to see because its two days different then what I had with carson. Can't wait. Its at 4:55 pacific time. I want to try and do something fun to announce.

    Hope all is well.

So as I said I haven't felt much of anything this whole pregnancy. A few hours ago I had my belly against my work desk so I can type (I am short what can I say). And thump thump just barely to the right of my belly button lol. I only know it was him/her because it happened like 4 times in about a 15 min period. I think it wasn't happy about being squished against the desk haha. 24 hr and 46min left to go lol.

    Hey Ladies!

Heather - I am so excited for your u/s today!! Darn time zones! I'm on Eastern time. Can't wait to hear if you have a little guy or gal in there. I'm sticking with my original guess of a girl.

Ani - I think the month between visits in brutal! I liked the reassurance of hearing the heartbeat and knowing all was well. Even now, I've been going every week alternating between my appointments and the u/s's and it still feels like time drags on but still seems to fly by at the same time.

My update: 35 weeks today, 35 days to go! Had an appointment with my OB last Thursday. Good news is I'm not measuring 6 weeks ahead any more, it's down to two because baby has dropped pretty signficantly. Bad news is the pressure on my cervix is immense! Yesterday was pretty painful. Walking around is hard and when I rest I get some pretty intense braxton hicks.

Next u/s is this Thursday for a fluid level check and a growth check.

My baby shower is this Saturday. Looking forward to celebrating with my close friends and family!

Thats so excited Jenny. Not the pain part but the measuring less ahead and looking good otherwise. Yay for baby shower. You are getting super close. I have a feeling your little one is not going to wait for the full 40 weeks. Just a feeling. I think he/she will make an appearance around 38 weeks. Maybe a few days more or less . Maybe sooner if baby drops more. Glad things are going well otherwise
