Good Morning. Well morning anyway.

Heather and baby girl (still no name)
25w5d

my update: Not much to report. Still about the same as far as normal pregnancy gunk. Little miss is getting to be more and more active which I love (other than when she decides when one of my organs is fun to kick. ouch). Had my u/s and glucose test done on friday. Should get the results sometime in the next day or two. Curious what ob is going to say because now her head is measuring small. Belly measuring big but not bigger. She was measuring normal with head and legs at 18w6d and belly was measuring 2 weeks bigger (putting me at an EDD of 4/6). Then this u/s her head was measuring a week behind my normal edd of 4/9 and belly was measuring a week bigger than me edd, legs measuring on target with my reg edd. (this gave me a edd of 4/12). So between head and belly they are still 2 weeks difference. Not sure what she will say. Definately ready to find out lol.

Other: DS learned some new words in the last couple of days "mumble" (his word for fumble and sometimes for football). And broccoli. He is trying to say the word sister as well (comes out ssster) lol.

If I don't happen to talk to you before wednesday. Enjoy the holidays

u/s and lab update:

According to ob's nurse who called she is fine with the u/s results. And I passed my glucose test and everything else was within acceptable limits for me. Its a little funky though and I will probably talk to her about it at my appointment with regards to my labs. I am fine with the glucose test even though it was almost failing (needed to be under 140 and I was at 133 and thats with me only having a decaf mocha about 5 hours before. So had I eaten I likely would have failed). But my white count is quite high. Should be under 11 for a normal person (it can be a little higher with pregnancy). It was 14 at the beginning of my pregnancy and it is now 21.2. So its almost double the standard. Im glad she doesn't seem to be worried about the fact the baby is measuring funky. I am still a bit nervous about that but who wouldn't be. Anyways that is my update for now.

Hey Heather! I am glad that the Dr said that everything is good but I also understand your concern. I would ask her all of your questions on your next appt. Even though I am pretty sure everything is ok.

My update: Ani and baby Allison
24w5d w/g: 20 lbs
I had my appt today, had a transvaginal and abdominal u/s. The cervix is still long and closed just like the last time. Baby Allison is head down now and everything measured fine. From now on I will be going in every two weeks to make sure that nothing changes.

Yay for baby name and everything looking good so far. Thats a good christmas present in itself. I am glad they will check you every two weeks to make sure things continue to go well. I know your nerves will get a little bit high in the next several weeks but I think this time you will have a much better result on pregnancy lasting a lot longer. Merry christmas!

Thank you Heather! It is a pretty good present, as ladies that have had problems with their pregnancies we know how important it is to get good news from your ob/gyn.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Thats awesome. We had a lot of fun watching carson open gifts. He got side tracked a few times. He wasn't the typical toddler who would rather play with the paper. He would unwrap a gift and want to play with it rather than open other gifts. It took forever but it was fun. We then went to my grandmas house where a lot of my family go every year and did an early dinner. Found out not one but two other family members are now pregnant. My cousin is due august 10th and my uncles wife finds out what her due date is tomorrow. Plus my husbands cousin announced she was pregnant last week. In addition to his other cousin just having a baby a few weeks ago,my cousin just had her son about 1.5 weeks ago (at 32 weeks and he is doing really well), and my sister is due jan 8th and brother is due march 29th. And thats just family members. Not including several of my friends being pregnant too. Holy cow whats in the water lol. Our son did really well considering he didn't really nap at all yesterday. He also got his two bottom teeth to come through a couple days ago (still working on them continuing to grow) and has learned a few new words to in the last couple days.

Wow,lots of babies in your family. That's great though, more babies the better in my opinion. It sounds like you had an awesome Christmas. It's nice to be around family during holidays. Our family Christmas got cancelled this year b/c a few nieces and nephews were sick with the flu.

eww yeh I would cancel if that happened too. Thankfully no one was sick this year. Last year during thanksgiving there was a family member who was sick so they stayed home with their grandma and everyone else from the house came. Pretty sure even though they weren't symptomatic at the time they shared the love because over half the guests ended up very very ill. My husband ended up in the hospital because this bug also caused his crohns to really flare, plus dehyrdration. It was actually making his kidneys try to fail. Thankfully while he was in the hospital he recovered in about a day (they were expecting him to be there a few days due to his kidney function tests). So thankful everyone was healthy this time.
