Still no signs of labor, just irregular contractions. I went to my appt yesterday, everything is well other than some swelling. She did a membrane sweep I think,I got pretty uncomfortable later and had some spotting.
The Dr said that we'll wait til next week to induce, hopefully I go to labor before then.
How are you and baby Aubrey doing?

I hope that Alison made her entrance by now Ani. Thinking of you and hope everything is perfect. Aubrey is doing good. We had to have a follow up appointment yesterday because she wasn't quite at her birth weight during her 2wk check (I wasn't worried due to the fact she had a rough start and had an iv her whole hospital stay). Saw the lc nurse on sunday because the dr asked us to. She said we are doing great and she has no concerns. When we had our apt yesterday the dr was happy with her weight gain. She is now only 0.3oz away from birth weight and turned 3 weeks old yesterday. My how time flies. I am doing pretty well as well. My ob took the steri strips off of my incision and everything looks good. I did have a bout of mastitis and had to be treated for that but doing better now. Waiting for my weight restrictions to be lifted (will be after one month post csection so another 9 days. crazy to think its that close now). Thinking of you.

Thank you so much ladies! I'll jump right into to it b/c I can"t wait to let you know.
I went to bed sunday night feeling pretty good until about 5.00 am when I felt and heard a pop. I woke up and about 3 sec later I was having really strong contractions 5 min apart, that didn't last long b/c about 15 min later they got closer, they were 3 min apart.I told DH,this is it,we need to go to the hospital,I didn't think they were going away.
We got to the hospital at 6.00 am,since I was pre registered they took me straight to my room. The RN checked and I was 7 cm dilated, she told me that it was going fast and she called the Dr.
They asked if I was going to need any pain medication for the labor and I said no,I wanted to do it naturally. In the meantime the Dr came and checked me and said that the baby's head was stuck and I needed to walk around so that the baby would make it around the pelvic bone. They made me sit on a birthing ball, take a hot shower b/c my back was killing me and before I knew I was fully dilated to 10 cm and the baby was ready to come out.
I gave it another couple of pushes and at 9.50 am Allison was born without any complications. She was born 7lbs13oz. The RN wanted me to start bf right away, she latched pretty good. She did have a big bruise on the top of her head b/c she was stuck behind the pelvic bone . Since everything was going well we went home 24hrs later.
I can't believe that she is here with us. When the Dr. put her on my chest,DH and I couldn't stop crying.
So far everything is going ok, older sister is so excited. She keeps holding Allison's hand and kissing her on the top of the head.
Jenny,Heather! I am so glad things are going well for both of you. Heather I can't believe Aubrey is 3 weeks old already.
I hope everything continues to be good with you and baby Aubrey. Thank you for thinking of me.
