So i had to break down and buy some maternity clothes today. i swear i felt like a COW in all of them since i dont' really have a "fill Belly" yet to fill them

but the stores by me don't carry my bra size.. she measured me today and i'm a 40F!! OMG.. and to think i'm only 5 monhts alot and still havn't gotten MILK.. i'm goin to FALLLLLL OVER!!!!! i already needed a fork lift for them pre pg! sigh.. i was a 36 DD

Anyway.. Motherhood had ONE minimizer a 40E that is snug cup size but very comfy..

Now i'm trying to find other minimizers (full support SOFT cups, with underwire) but i'm not having much luck in a 40E or 40F.. I tried http://www.barenecessities.com but most of there stuff is like 60-80 bucks for a bra! ouch!!!

So help! anyone out there know where i can find something comfy that fits that isn't goin to break the bank?

I usually wear Lillyette minimizers but they only go to a 40DDD and thats too small :(

I wish I could help, however I was small before pregnancy, I was a 34B and now I'm a 36D so I'm not sure. All I have heard is that most of my friends who are bigger topside tend to have alot of problems finding bras too. You would think that some store would try to cater to them without being ridiculously expensive.

I feel your pain! I am measuring a 40H. It's difficult to find a decent bra at an economical price. I have an Aviana minimizer I paid $50 for but the lace was itchy. It did give me lower back relief.

I purchased a Fancee Free that has great support. They also have nursing bras. Again not cheap.

My favorite is from Lane Bryant. So comfortable.

I am an underwire person myself, but in preparation for BF I switched. They do not carry them in the stores, but you can order them and have free shipping to the stores as well as free return. The Lane Bryant one I like so much runs large. I had to go down a cup size. (42H to a 40H) It is the most comfortable bra I have found in my pregnancy and believe me, I have searched.

I agree 100% about getting something that fits now. I know I am miserable without a bra that fits.

I just wanted to butt in for a sec :)

I wore wire free nursing bras while BFing. I had 1 that was an underwire as a backup and used it while I was washing the others. The pressure from the wire caused me to get the nastiest clogged duct ever. It was the one and only time I ever got a clog. After that, I threw the bra away and never had another issue!

hmm.. ok.. good to know.. I can't stand wirefree bras normally..

i did get mastis (sp) with DS so maybe why? who knows.. anyway.. I feel like i'm a brand new mom with these questions.. But i'm much larger on top then i was with DS to start.. I was a 32/34 C/D with DS to start and ended up in a 44/46 DDD (which probably should of been an E or F) but i just squeezed in the girls or worse at home didn't wear nothing! LOLOL

This time i'm starting with 36DD/DDD's so i only fear where i'm heading. :(

agbdiva replied to Starla_94's response:
From my research, underwire can hinder the breast tissue/ducts. It has taken me awhile to get used to the different support without a wire. The girls just aren't as high as they used to be, but then again I haven't been perky since junior high. LOL :)

Good luck in your bra search Christina!

yea i need more help in the hold me up which is why i don't like them.. they just don't provide the support which seems funny that a tiny wire would help that much..

its just like the "Molded" Cup bras.. i can't stand them either.. LOLOL
