    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

It's a girl!! Maya Jeanette was born Jan. 26th at 1:07 am at a healthy 8lbs. 11oz! Went to my OB on the 24th, the day after my due date to get all together to go in that night for induction. Got to hospital at 8pm and got hooked up and started on pitocin. Was still only 2cm dialated at that point. Got checked again at 4 am the next morning and was still at a 2 so they started to increase the pitocin. At 6:30 they started talking to me about an epidural bc I was in for a long day. Decided to try it and they got me the very best dr and it went in the first time, less than 10 min. OB came in around 8 and broke my water and I was at a 3-4 cm at that time. Went all day slowly progressing and Maya working her way down. By midnight, I was stuck at a 9.5 cm dialated and only 95 effaced. Maya had a few decels so the OB made the decision that I was going to have to have a csection. Got preped and rolled into OR and after 20 + hrs of labor, my beautiful baby girl entered the world! We are home now and adjusting well. My milk supply has not really come in so we are having to supplement with formula but I am pumping and giving her what I can. Her daddy and I are just in love with her! I cannot thank you ladies enough for your love and support through our journey. It has been the best and what I needed!

Yaaaaaay! Been watching for this post! Congrats!

My milk came in kinda slow this time... I think for me it was stress and then (sorry, TRIGS) having her kinda sent me enotionally back to losing Jackson, so I was like sad and joyous at the same time, so we supplemented from day 4 or 5.
Personally I had a hard time with coming to terms that BFing may not work out for me, I wanted it to so bad, but for me it was a lot of feeding, pumping, supplementing, etc and she was gaining weight a little slowish. Last week I was ready to give up and had a good cry about it, and then it suddenly got WAY better. Oy! So now I am not sure what we are going to do, just keep it up for now and hope for the best. I hope yours gets better quick I know that can be stressful!

btw, I REALLY REALLY hope you join the PAL Grad board I really like it. At first the format threw me but now I really like it and there is TONS of great mommy advice on there.

    CONGRATS girl!
