Afterpains suggestion

Lysana posted:
A L&D nurse mommy blogger suggested this to me, and I think it's brilliant, although I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. The afterpains I had after Bekah was born were AWFUL. I remember distinctly thinking, "I thought this was supposed to be OVER now!" LOL!

The suggestion: Get some of those heated pads that strap on for your back, and wear them strapped over your front, instead, to help ease the pain from uterine cramps.

I'm thinking she meant something like this:

Can't wait to try it!

I used a homemade microwaveable bean heating bag &it worked great for the pain. I bet the ones you're talking about are a bit more convenient, mine only worked while sitting or lying.
