is it ok for a pregnant women to be around dogs with worms?

i live in a house with two dogs. one has worms for sure. round worms. i know nothing about it but i am almost 8 and a half months pregnant and do not know if it is something for me to worry about. someone have any advice?

Are you sure they are roundworms? DId the vet tell you that? If you can see the worms in the poop or around the dogs rectal area and look like grains of rice they are tapeworms. But regardless stay away from the poop. Don't clean it up at all. Have someone else do it. If the dog (i know it is gross but) likes to eat poop then don't let the dog lick you.
